Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole recipe🍰

  • Author: Olivia

Ingredients

Scale

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. This ensures that your casserole bakes evenly and doesn’t stick to the dish.
  2. First Layer: Unroll 1 can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the dish, sealing the seams as you go. This will form the base layer of your casserole.
  3. Make Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread Filling: Evenly pour the cream cheese mixture over the dough layer, ensuring that it covers the entire surface.
  5. Second Layer: Unroll the second can of crescent dough and carefully place it on top of the cream cheese layer, once again sealing the seams.
  6. Add Butter & Cinnamon: Brush the melted butter over the top layer of dough. In a small bowl, mix the ground cinnamon with 2 tbsp sugar, then sprinkle this mixture over the buttered dough.
  7. Bake: Place your casserole in the oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until it turns a beautiful golden brown.
  8. Cool & Serve: Allow your casserole to cool for at least 20 minutes. This helps set the layers, making it easier to cut into squares. Serve and enjoy the burst of flavors!
